Ann Richards Accountancy Services was founded over 40 years ago. Originally based in Oldbury before moving to our current offices in Halesowen in 2002. We are extremely proud to say that some of our clients have been with us for all of these 40 years and most of our new business is via client recommendations. We look after all your accountancy, bookkeeping and payroll requirements and positively embrace technology while providing a human service point. Are offices are open and our phones manned by a friendly, professional human being. We are, in simple terms, bookkeepers, accountants, tax advisors, payroll processors and financial controllers all rolling into one cost effective package.

Managing Director
Lorraine started as an employee in January 1995. Hard work, commitment and focused dedication in the ultimate success of the business over the years means she is now the Managing Director and majority shareholder. Her role in the business is to make sure it runs smoothly on a day to day basis, support the team and build relationships with our clients and their staff . She also produces accounts for clients and deals with queries.
Striving to build the business further but also to keep her eyes firmly fixed on our current clients.
Director
Chris joined us in September 2014 as a trainee. He is a qualified AAT member. After gaining the experience and knowledge required he has become an integral part of the team. In January 2023 and in recognition of his achievements he was appointed a Director and is now a Shareholder. Chris deals with all aspects of the business to ensure all accounts and payroll are prepared quickly and accurately.
His role is progressing towards being the future of Ann Richards.
Accountant
Inderjit is a qualified Accountant and Tax Advisor. He has been preparing accounts and tax returns for over 10 years. His passion is to produce timely accounts and maximise tax efficiency. He enjoys client contact and is always available for a chat. He also enjoys figuring out how to sort any problems that our clients have but also helping them to understand their finances.
His role is becoming more intrinsic in the future of Ann Richards and is now a Shareholder.
Payroll Officer
Usha joined the company in August 2021 and has over 20 years experience within payroll. She has a wide range of knowledge that you would expect a Payroll Officer to have. She liases with HMRC on a regular basis and she is happy to assist and advise clients in all PAYE matters. Always researching the new rulings when HMRC makes amendments.
Her role is a vital part of the payroll function within the team of Ann Richards.
Trainee Accounts Production
Josh joined Ann Richards in May 2023 as a trainee after deciding that this is the route he wishes his career to take. He is working really hard to understand all aspects of the bookkeeping process and is now competent in processing and software use. His knowledge in producing a full set of accounts is continuing and we are sure that very soon he will be compiling them on his own.
He is enjoying learning how to answer clients queries and his confidence is growing daily.
Trainee
Kacey joined us full time in January 2025. We are helping her to understand the day to day processes that an accounts office entails. Each week she is increasing her knowledge and starting to be able to work alone. She is working hard in becoming a productive member of Ann Richards. We are sure her confidence and knowledge will grow as she continues within the business.
Hopefully she will continue to enjoy working and her skills will develop over the coming years.
