Ann Richards Accountancy Services was founded over 40 years ago.  Originally based in Oldbury before moving to our current offices in Halesowen in 2002.  We are extremely proud to say that some of our clients have been with us for all of those 40 years and most of our new business is via client recommendations.  We look after all your accounting and payroll requirements and positively embrace technology while providing a human service point.  Our offices are open and our phones manned by a friendly professional human being.  We are, in simple terms, book keepers, accountants, tax advisors, payroll processors and financial controllers all rolled into one cost effective package. 

Angela Austin

Managing Director

Angela joined the business in 1992. With a broad and varied financial career she has always demonstrated a keen commercial awareness and has acted and sat on many company boards.   Passionate about providing proper accounting, advice and support without the hefty price tag and always ensuring direct access and support.

Lorraine Langford

Director

Lorraine started as an employee in January 1995.  Hard work, commitment and focused dedication in the ultimate success of the business over the years means she is now a director and significant shareholder. Her role in the business is to make sure it runs smoothly on a day to day basis, support the team and build relationships with clients and their staff.

Chris Hill

Director

Chris joined us in September 2014 as a trainee.  He is a qualified AAT member. After gaining the experience and knowledge required he became an integral part of the team and a manager. In January 2023 and in recognition of his achievements he was appointed a Director.  Chris deals with all aspects of the business to ensure all accounts and payroll are prepared quickly and accurately.

Inderjit Samra

Accountant

Inderjit is a qualified accountant and tax advisor and has been preparing accounts and tax returns for over 10 years.  His passion is to produce timely accounts and maximise tax effeciency.  He enjoys client contact and is always available for a chat.

Usha Patel

Payroll Officer

Usha joined the company in August 2021. With over 20 years experience within payroll. She has a wide range of experience with all the knowledge you would expect a Payroll Officer to have.  She liases with HMRC on a regular basis. She is happy to assist and advise clients in all PAYE matters.

Josh Beardsmore

Trainee Accounts Production

Josh joined us in May 2023 as a trainee after deciding this is the route he wished to take in his career.  He is working really hard to understand all aspects of the book keeping process and is now competent in processing and software use.  His knowledge to produce a full set of accounts is continuing to grow every day.
